Regional plan: what it means for a travel eSIM

One plan for a group of countries in one region, such as Europe.

A regional plan covers a set of countries that sit close together, for example Europe or Southeast Asia. It usually costs less per GB than a global plan and more than a single-country plan.

It fits a trip that stays inside one area. Once the route leaves the region, the plan stops working and you need a second eSIM.

What to check

  • Confirm that the country list includes every stop, including layovers
  • Price it against a global plan for the same data and days
